According to the annual Brand Finance Global 500 survey of the world's 500 most valuable brands, the world's leading beer brands are: Budweiser; Heineken; Corona; and Fosters. Bud is 15th, wroth US$21BN and is number two beverage behind Coca-Cola. Heineken fell to 62nd place, Corona was 184th but had risen 37 places since the last list was published. Fosters goes straight into the list at 284, ahead of Amstel (336) and Stella Artois (340). The only spirit in the top 500 was Smirnoff (341). Top spot went to Walmart, worth US$36BN with Google and Coca-Cola at two and three.
