Bud Goes Platinum

A-B InBev is to launch Bud Light Platinum, a 6% ABV beer with the 137Kcal per 12-oz bottle in the States. Bud Light is 4.2% ABV and 110 Kcals while Budweiser is 5% and 145Kcal. The beer will be brewed at A-B's Baldwinsville, Cartersville and LA breweries. Details of the marketing campaign have not yet been published. Perhaps more exciting is the news that the St Louis plant is going to try its hand at brewing 600,000hl of Becks.
