Bsn Glasspack To Cut Jobs In Restructuring

By the year 2002, BSN Glasspack intends to cut 800 jobs in a restructuring and production rationalisation programme aimed at increasing the group's overall competitive position. The VMC plant will be reduced 50% while the plant at Givors, Lyon, which produces 110,000/tpa of jars for Danone and other customers, is due to be closed.
