Bronze Moulds Are The Future

Fonderie Bartalesi, a foundry highly specialised in the production of bronze for the glass container industry, was set up in 1956. Its great experience in the glass industry has made the company well known for its high quality products, prompt service, reliability and its customer care. In the past, bronze moulds were very rare because costs and delivery times for items made of this alloy of copper and tin were too great to be competitive. But Fonderie decided to invest time, money, technology and research to perfect bronze alloys and to increase the production capacity of bronze. As a result, the company is now ready to defy the market by providing accurately delivered and low cost bronze moulds for the hollow glass industry that are competitive with those made from other materials. An iron mould can produce up to 600,000 bottles but a bronze could do 2M.
