Bourgeois In Receivership

It was reported 20/01/06 that France's Bourgeois has been placed in receivership by the commercial court of Lons le Saunier, eastern France, in order to reorganize its business & operations, the optical glass maker announced 13 January 2006. The procedure opens an observation period to look at measures for operations consolidation and strengthening, Bourgeois said in a statement. Bourgeois will continue to service its clients & process orders while simultaneously providing after-sales service and technical assistance, the company added. The company's net loss for the 1H of 2005 increased to EUR 480,000 from EUR 64,000 for the same period of 2004, it was reported on 3 January 2006.
