Blackburn's Thwaites Brewery has invested in a new £700k bottling line which aims to double capacity. The new filler is supplied by Eurostar of Italy, is installed by Carbonation Techniques from Telford and can produce bottles at the rate of up to 4,200/bph. Thwaites also installed the innovative multi-packer from Tondelli of Italy and new conveyors and controls to link it all together were provided by Fastpack Engineering of Burton.
