Bgrc Reassures Councils Over Price Of Green Cullet

The British Glass Recycling Company has moved to reassure local authorities that it can see "no immediate" reason for reducing its buying price for green cullet. Colin Clapshoe, director, said recently there was still a fair amount of "headroom" between the amount of green cullet it was buying and the amount of green cullet the manufacturers can use. The reassurance comes just a week after glass processor Berryman's revealed that it would be reducing the price it pays for green cullet from December 1st, because of a fall in the price of PRNs.
