Beverage Market Problems Beset Ukraine Hollow Glass Industry

Production of glass containers in the Ukraine rose by nearly 9% to 3.1m/pieces in 2015, following the improving situation in the country's beverage market, where the volume of output jumped by 25%. At the same time, the situation continues to be unstable as in 2014, production fell by around 10%, according to the Ukraine Association of Glass Manufacturers (UkrSteklo). This article provides an overview of the current situation.
