Better Regulation - Eu Simplification

The European Commission has announced the publication of a working document, First Progress Report on the Strategy of the Simplification of the Regulatory Environment. This evaluates progress made since the launch of the EU's regulatory simplification strategy in October 2005 and adds more than 40 new initiatives for the period 2006-2009. Amongst the food related examples are: The current simplification of legislation on food additives and flavourings.
