Better First Half For Carlsberg

Carlsberg has shrugged off challenges in the UK and Russia to post a mid-single-digit rise in first-half sales. Sales in the 6m to the end of June rose by 4%. The increase was off just a 1% rise in volumes. Carlsberg said its market share in the UK has improved in the wake of the Danish Pilsner launch.
