[Belarus] Teyo Looks At Soda Ash Plant

The Turkish company TEYO recently announced it plans to build a plant to produce soda ash in Gomel Oblast, Belarus. The project was discussed at a meeting between Belarus' Deputy Prime Minister Anatoly Kalinin, Gomel Oblast Governor Vladimir Dvornik and executives of the Turkish company, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian Goverenment. An agreement was reached to start construction of a plant with capacity of around 1m/tpa. Over the next few months the construction site will be selected and a business plan developed.
