Beatson Clark Secures £1.7M From Regional Growth Fund

UK glass manufacturer, Beatson Clark, has secured up to £1.7 million from the Regional Growth Fund. The company hopes to use the funds to install a larger and more efficient bottle forming machine and a bulk palletiser for packing glass products at its Rotherham plant. This is part of a planned £12 million investment which will include a larger capacity furnace. Beatson Clark expects the investment programme to be complete by March 2015. A total of £50m has been allocated to businesses and organisations in Yorkshire from the fourth round of the flagship Regional Growth Fund (RGF).
