In recent months the company has been actively marketing amber glass containers as the recommended choice for products from food & drink to more traditional pharmaceutical & beer bottles. Sales & Marketing Director, Lynn Sidebottom said: "Fashions in packaging definitely change & this year the trend with our customers has been to give amber glass a try for lots of different kinds of products." According to BC, amber glass lends itself well to packaging, not only due to its dark visual appeal, but because it provides a more cost-effective option than flint glass; the availability of which is limited in any case. For these reasons, the company's customers are tending to choose the more readily available amber glass & are benefitting from fast turnaround times when ordering it.
