Beatson Clark has invested in a new CAD software tool that allows its sales team to present clients with computer generated mock-ups of their potential glass design. The company has spent £53,000 on the latest AutoCAD computer aided design software. The investment comes as part of an ongoing £12M, two-year investment programme. Customers will soon be reaping the benefits of the new CAD service, which gives a realistic first impression of how their finished design will look. The CAD software package will be capable of being loaded onto the sales-force's laptops. Also in the near future, Beatson Clark's extensive product portfolio will be available to be accessed from the laptops. Designs will then be able to be modified to suit the customer's own particular requirements. (whole item)
