Tses Glass (Pty) Ltd., the premier glass manufacturing company in Namibia, has selected and signed with Italy-based BDF Industries SPA for the supply of a furnace and furnace equipment for the 250tpd Tses Glass Container Glass plant in Tses, Namibia. One of the foremost suppliers of glass technology, with more than 100 years of experience, BDF is the unique supplier able to propose a complete offer for the hollow-glass making industry: From the design and production of furnaces, forehearths and IS machines to complete turnkey plants. Germany-based Heye International is supplying the engineering, procurement and construction management, while Germany-based Siemens, Zippe, MSK, and ghs | glass are the OEM companies for the equipment, technology and processes for this plant, with construction expected to start up in May 2014. Tses Glass has also appointed BDF Industries to develop and build its 25 MW Eolic Power Plant in Tses to power its furnaces.
