Balblair Rebrands With Balance Of Heritage And Modernity

Inver House Distillers has relaunched its Balblair Single Malt in what the company claims to be its most important product development to-date. In a move to go premium, the whisky has followed the vintage trend for a contemporary edge in the market. As one of the oldest working distilleries, the heritage of Balblair's site is the focus of the pack change and rebrand. Balblair has moved away from the traditional whisky bottle to the shorter, rounded, dumpy bottle that is currently in vogue. The pack has a contemporary feel and the presentation of the new vintage range is a complete departure from the old style Balblair and a welcome improvement. It is a bold and confident move for change by the producers to update their offering and give it a new sense of meaning.
