[Bahrain] Imerys Plans Fused Alumina

French mineral conglomerate, Imerys, has announced its intention to establish a joint venture with Al Zayani Investments for the construction of a new production plant in the Kingdom. The joint venture will produce white fused aluminium oxide, a fine grain used for abrasives, refractories, sandblasting and thermal coating, for the global market. The announcement was part of a road show organised by the Economic Development Board to further strengthen bilateral relations between the business communities and to highlight opportunities for investment in Bahrain.
