Automatic Rotary Machines Provide Sleeving Versatility

Two new fully automatic rotary machines for up to 42,000 bottles/h have been launched by Krones AG (fax: Germany 0049 9401 702488). The Stretchmatic, handles stretchable sleeve films for the cylindrical or only slightly conical portion of the bottle. The Sleevematic applies sleeve films which are then shrunk onto the bottle contours and can also provide tamper-resistant sealing in the neck region.
