The Asean Federation of Glass Manufacturers (AFGM) has announced that the 38th Asean Glass Conference will take place at the Shangrila's Rasa Sayang Resort & Spa and Golden Sands Resort in the state of Penang, Malaysia on 8-11 September 2014. With the theme "Go Green with Glass," the conference will be staged by the Glass Manufacturer's Association of Malaysia. "Based on the AFGM Conference's record in previous years, and with 2014 seeing Malaysia celebrating its fourth Visit Malaysia Year, we estimate that between 300-350 delegates will participate in Penang, which has recently been accorded a listing as a UNESCO World Cultural Heritage Site" said Chai Kung Fee, Chairman of the organising committee.
