Asahi Glass is expected to sell its glass wool insulation and roofing materials business, Asahi Fibre Glass, to venture capitalists led by the Development Bank of Japan. Financial analysts believe Asahi is moving to concentrate on its core flat glass and liquid crystal displays glass sectors.
