Asahi India Reports Consistent Growth

Asahi India Safety Glass has announced a consistent growth in performance during 1994-1997. According to reports, the company meets the requirements of some major automobile giants including General Motors India, Fiat and DCM Daewoo. Asahi India produces laminated windshields, and also has facilites for producing toughened tempered glass. The company has both technical and financial collaboration with Asahi Glass Co of Japan, and as a result of the Indian government's decision to make the useage of laminated windshields mandatory, reports say that the company's future seems to be quite optimistic.
