[Argentina] Verallia Invests In Mendoza Expansion

Verallia inaugurated its third furnace at the Mendoza glass container plant in Argentina recently, in the presence of CEO, Jerome Fessard and local dignitaries. This project represented the largest private sector industrial investment in the country in 2012, involving an investment of around 54M/Euros. Dedicated primarily to the production of still and sparkling wine bottles, the installation represents a major increase in production capacity for the site. In addition to creating a third production shop, the project includes an expansion of the site's raw materials storage and handling facility, as well as investments in the latest on-line quality control technology.
