Ardagh has been awarded overall "Supplier of the Year" accolade from whisky firm, The Edrington Group. The award was presented at the Scotch Whisky Experience in Edinburgh. The overall winner, chosen from 5 Gold award category winners, reflects not only the overall excellence of performance throughout the year but also the accomplishment of something particularly outstanding. It was the first time the award has been presented to a glass packaging manufacturer. Edrington's Supply Chain Director, D Donaldson, said: "Ardagh manufactures a complex product that performs consistently on our lines. Their overall account management is excellent; proactive & clearly takes our vendor rating process seriously, helping it drive their business forward."
