Ardagh And Ball Win Coca-Cola Supplier Awards

Ball Packaging Europe and Ardagh Glass have been recognised for their contribution to Coca-Cola's sustainability programme. At an awards ceremony in Brussels, the soft drink's giant named Ball as its supplier of the year and Ardagh as the most improved supplier. Stephen Moorhouse, general manager and vice president of Coca-Cola Enterprises' (CCE) European supply chain, said its success in 2009 was partly due to its relationships with suppliers. Ball supplies CEE with 2.4 billion cans a year in Europe and Moorhouse hailed the "outstanding collaboration to achieve joint goals and priorities".
