According to the US Wall Street Journal, Apple Inc. have begun to develop a new design of "smart watches". A WSJ journalists claim that Apple employees are experimenting with the creation of a device similar to a watch, which will support some of the features of smartphones. The New York Times has a similar information, and argues that the gadget will look like a wrist watch with a curved screen. The device should run on iOS, as well as iPhone, iPod touch or iPad. According to the journalists Apple executives have already started negotiations with its main producer, Foxcon - to compile the gadget at their plant. Former developer interfaces for Apple, Bruce Tognazzini wrote in his blog about the possible future use of "clock iWatch." He noted that he has no idea what is the design of the new product will be, but he noted that Apple executives have already patented a method for the production of displays with curved glass. Apple usually starts to research and test new devices long before they enter the market.
