[Albania] Japanese Finance For Container Plant

The Japanese government is reported to be offering financing of US$2.2M for the construction of a glass packaging plant at Elbasani, in Albania. According to sources at the Albanian Agro-Business Council, the new plant will make packaging for the food industry, and the company operating the plant will be selected by tender. Planned output is 59,000 items per day, or 20M per year. The plant will have a workforce of 50.
