Alan Mclenaghan Moves On From Eggborough

Saint-Gobain Glass UK boss & world class manufacturing exponent Alan McLenaghan is to leave his Eggborough, North Yorkshire-based post to take up a new job in the United States. Alan, well-known as a champion of Britain's manufacturing revival & regarded as one of the sectors most influential executives. The Eggborough site won Britain's best process plant in 2008. From January 2010, Alan will join Saint-Gobain Containers Inc, headquartered in Muncie, Indiana, USA, as Senior Vice President, Technology. In previous roles, he has been responsible for the creation, development & implementation of world class manufacturing across 31 sites, successfully developing safety programs, six sigma and '5S' initiatives across the business.
