Airless System Claims "World First" In Glass

In what is claimed "The ultimate packaging innovation," and a world first, Lumson of Italy has designed, patented, and made an airless dispensing system in a glass bottle. TAG (Techno Airless Glass) was launched recently at the Beyond Beauty Creative Show in Paris. According to Lumson, all major cosmetics companies from around the globe were "enthusiastic" about the innovation, and showed outstanding interest in TAG and its unique features. One senior R&D manager from a leading cosmetics firm said: "A high-end glass bottle with an airless system inside is what we've always dreamt of." Until now, explains Lumson, airless systems could only be supplied with plastic containers. "Our TAG combines the beauty, preciousness, and luxury of glass with the technical and functional advantages of an airless dispensing system." See: www.lumson.com
