Air Product'S Russian Plant Starts Up

Air products has recently brought onstream its plant to supply high purity nitrogen, hydrogen and compressed dry air to the new Pilkington float glass facility in Ramenskoe, near Moscow. The plant will produce 18.500/tpa of high purity nitrogen and 85/tpa of hydrogen and compressed dry air for the manufacture of float glass. Pilkington's Ramenskoe facility is forecast to produce around a quarter of a million tonnes of glass per year.
