The Robotics division of CyberGlass produces a full range of robots for the delicate, repetitive and even dangerous task of gob gathering. The equipment, developed in collaboration with the robotics specialists Fanuc, is available in three versions: Roboglass 6: a 4-axis robot for gobs up to 3kg which have to be delivered from constant or variable level furnaces to forming machines below the level of the melt: Roboglass 12: a 4-axis robot for gobs of up to 12kg which have to be delivered from constant or variable-level furnaces to forming machines below the level of the melt: and Roboglass 710: a 6-axis robot for use with variable-level furnaces such as pot furnaces and day tanks. The robot gatherers all run on Glasstool software developed by CyberGlass and based on the TPE (Teach Pendand Editor) programming language of the Fanuc R-J2.
