Accorate Energy Demand Measurement Of Industrial Glass Batches

One of the major challenges for the glass industry is to develop routes in view of the transition to CO2 neutral glass melting. Although laboratory experimental facilities have proved to be a powerful tool to find more efficient ways of glass melting resulting in lower energy consumption and reduced CO2 footprint, one essential measurement set up was still lacking. Therefore, CelSian has developed and built an experimental set up that enables users to measure the overall energy demand needed to convert industrial sized batch to a glass melt.
