Ac Servo Index Drives

A more efficient and cleaner AC servo drive has been created by US glass equipment, engineering and control manufacturer Lynch Systems. The company's Ring Gear Drive utilises a large ring gear to allow indexing of single, double or any number of stations. According to the company this capability, which is menu-selectable from several pre-programmed index modes, allows the machine to run large moulds without considering the machine's mould radius as a limiting factor. In this manner, an ELP machine is capable of running very large 16x9 prototype products in a 3-station configuration.
