8Th International Seminar On Mathemtaical Modeling And Advanced Numerical Methods In Furnace Design And Operation

This seminar will be held in Velke Karovice, Czech Republic on May 19-20, 2005. The event is the 8th seminar in a 2 year cycle organised by Glass Service Inc., in coperation with other institutes. The seminar provides an excellent opportunity to present and learn about the newest developments in mathematical modeling and advanced control. Topics are: theory of glass furnace simulation; application of modeling (furnace construction, design, glass quality); use of models in furnace operation and related advanced control; ecololgy in the glass industry (modeling approach).
