British Glass, together with more than 40 signatories from a range of organisations including packaging trade associations, major manufacturers, and retailers, has signed a letter from INCPEN (the Industry Council for Packaging and the Environment) to Secretary of State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs Michael Gove.
It outlines issues around Government proposals to reform package recycling in the UK, including the sequence of the introduction of Extended Producer Responsibility and Deposit Return Schemes.
